I hereby decree that from this point on, Miami Vice shall be known as my Big Gay Cop Fandom. Too bad, FAKE. Call me when you have a movie version starring Colin Farrell as Dee. That would be so awesome. And Edward James Olmos could totally be the Chief! If Liam Neeson wants me to fight at his side during the End of Days, he totally needs to create that movie for me.

In other news, I was going to post a big list of Escaflowne fic recs and such here, but I need to go find Miami Vice porn now, so everyone go and read Mr T versus Escaflowne instead.

Big Gay Cop Fandom? :)

Now I understand what you mean. I didn't know that Colin Farrell was going to be in Miami Vice. Jamie Foxx is playing Tubbs?! *wanders off to look at imdb.com* Tony Curran is in it too who was in LXG with Roxy. I love the commentary with Tony and Jason Flemyng - completely mad and they do a good Sean Connery impression :).

Hmm.. I'll have to reserve judgment until I see it. Though it would have been fun to shout at EJO.

I kept telling myself that LXG was a load of rubbish but then Stuart Townsend slowly managed to change my mind and Roxy doing his Sherlock Holmes again was cool so I was won over. It's still mainly bobbins though. Yep, that was Tony Curran though why they messed about with his character's name I'll never know.

Very true. I've been watching The Matrix trilogy recently and apart from wandering about ending all my sentences with "... Mr Anderson" it did make me miss daft Keanu movies. My favourites of which being the Bill & Ted films (woah! Dude! etc. etc.) - he's adorkable and Speed which is stupid but fun. More movies should be stupid and fun :).

they couldn't get the rights to use it so they had to make the character a thief who stole it, I think they very carefully never actually mention Who he stole it from.
wasnt it cool when you realise it's james bond's great?/granddad (sorry for vagueness, havent seen it in yonks)
