Take it from me, the original book is far and away better than Tales; it comes to something when you've read a book fifty times and you still get tears in your eyes over Ela-hrairah striking a bargain with the Black Rabbit or Holly describing the ultimate fate of the Sandleford warren. Plus, Bluebell? Oh my God, I love him! Thlayli will always be my favourite, but Bluebell has me in stitches with his horrendous puns and nonsense rhymes and bizarre impressions.
I'm thinking it would have to be Toby; I mean, who else are you gonna pair him with, Ludo? And dear God, not Orlando Bloom. He looks like a startled chicken and he's such a dire actor. Easily as bad as Hayden Christensen, but not pretty enough to make up for it.
